NVMA Christmas Party

Tonight we went to Grammy's work Christmas party. It is a childrens party so they had it at Turtle Bay in the museum. We got to take Daddy through the What's Up Doc exhibit. They had really yummy food and the Sequoia Middle School band played Christmas songs. Santa even mad an appearance. It took a little coaxing, letting me shake his bells, then I finally agreed to sit on his lap. It was very brief, a matter of seconds actually, but luckily Daddy was really fast with the camera so here is a picture of me with Santa. Maybe next time I will sit a little longer.

Welcome Baby Landon

Don and Christine had baby Landon this morning at 3:00 a.m. He is 9 lbs and 22 inches long. I am so happy that he is finally here so I can meet him. Congratulations new mommy and daddy Renz!

My First Hair Cut

Today I had my first hair cut. I didn't have a lot of hair to cut, but what I did have was getting pretty long. I went to Jeannette, she did a great job. She even had a little chair for me to sit in. Don't I look handsome now!

Sacramento Wildlife Refuge

On our way home from Cabela's Daddy and Papa wanted to drive through the refuge to see if there were any birds to use their new toys on.
Papa let me help him drive once we got on the dirt road.

We stopped part way through at a lookout spot. There were thousands of birds everywhere.

What a nice sunset, it was kind of cold though.

CABELA'S!!!

Today we went shopping at Cabela's in Boomtown, just outside Reno. We went with Grammy and Papa. I think Papa and Daddy thought they were in heaven. I saw all kinds of neat animals including mountain goats, an elephant, zebra, leopards and real fish. They even had a stuffed moose standing over real water with fish in it. The aquarium they had was huge, I loved looking at all the different fish swim by. They had a shooting range like Daddy remembers from Disneyland where fake animals jump out at you, they had a video game shooting game, and a real archery shooting range. We ate lunch at the cafe, Daddy had a bison dog (like a hot dog but made from bison). At the end, we spent a total of six hours there, and I loved every minute!

Thanksgiving

Today was Thanksgiving Day.
I started out the morning with some cranberry sauce, waffle and banana for breakfast. I love Mommy's homemade cranberry sauce!

After breakfast we got ready and headed out to Millville to relax and get dinner ready. Daddy and Cousin Alan played horseshoes.

Great Grandma Julie and Grandma Debbie spent most the afternoon in the kitchen cooking, they did a great job!

After dinner we had yummy homemade pies, I love the whip cream on top.

Visit from Uncle Danny & Aunt Rachel

Uncle Danny and Aunt Rachel came to visit but only for one day. They were in town to pick some things up for their new house they bought. They are really nice to me, I can't wait until they have kids of their own for me to go visit and play with. Uncle Adam came over for dinner and to see Danny and Rachel, he liked my turkey hat. Uncle Adam is so goofy!

My Future Job

This week I have been busy trying out lots of new things. Mom says I am deciding on my future career. What will I be when I grow up...

Will I be a computer nerd like Uncle Danny?

A fisherman like Daddy (the food looks better than it tastes)?

A bull rider like we watch on TV?

A motocross rider like Uncle Adam?

Or a drummer like Grandpa Mark?

At the end of the week, I think I like my naps best. I think I want to be like Aspen!

Pizza Parlor

Tonight we went to the pizza parlor and visited with my Great Great Uncles that were here from Minnnesota. They are the brothers of my Great Grandpa Don. Their names are Warren and Stanton. They are a lot of fun and like to joke around. They thought I was quite the charmer. I can't wait until I can go back and visit them and see the rest of the family.

Here I am with Uncle Warren

Here I am with Uncle Stanton

Here I am with Aunt Mary and Uncle Don (they live here in town)

Happy Halloween

Yesterday was Halloween and Daddy's work had a costume party. Daddy was Gilligan, Mommy was Mary Ann and I was a skunk. At the party I saw all my SDS friends including my best friend Waylon. Waylon was dressed as a doggy. I liked pulling his ears.

At night we had my grandparents, Uncle Adam and Cousin Alan and Ashley over for a BBQ and to help hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. I put my costume back on to show everyone. They liked the heart on the bottom that said "Lil Stinker". Uncle Adam was dressed as a Flamingo Jockey, he is really goofy! As I was getting ready for bed my friends Morgan and Mason showed up as witches. Their witches had was really big and had feathers all around it. I tried it on but it was a little big for me.
