Cousin Ryan

While we were up in Weaverville I got to play with my cousin Ryan. He is four months older than I am, but a lot bigger (10 lbs. bigger). He is a lot of fun! He even let me ride on his lawn mower that he got for his birthday. I was shocked when his mommy Amanda pressed the button and I started moving. After playing for a while we went and had pizza, even though he is bigger I think I can out eat him!!

New Ride

Today we went up to Weaverville and brought home a new ride! It is a 1956 Land Rover. It was my Great Grandma and Grandpa Schoenthalers family car when Papa was little. It needs some TLC but Mommy and Daddy are really excited about getting it and fixing it up. I can't wait to go for a ride in it.

Dutch Oven Cooking

We went up to Shingletown today to Danny & Suzie's house at Lake McCumber. It is really nice up there, I love to look at all the trees, watch the squirells and touch the lava rocks. Papa, Danny and one of their neighbors all do dutch oven cooking and decided to make a big dinner for everyone. It was really yummy! After dinner I helped the ladies in the kitchen do the dishes. After dinner it was playtime, I met two new friends Faith and Mason. They liked to pretend the pillows were boats, we were floating around the house on them.

Birthday Party!

We went over to my friend Riley's house tonight, it was her Mommy's birthday. Waylon was there so we all had a great time playing. Riley has lots of cool toys like the rocking bug I am sitting on and the red wagon that I am pushing Waylon in.
At the end of the night we were all getting really tired and ready to head home when Riley and Waylon decided to cuddle in the red wagon, aren't they cute!!

Toilet Paper

Today I discovered the neatest toy...toilet paper! I had the greatest time spinning the paper onto the floor and then sitting in it. Mommy didn't think it was quite as fun and I did.

Ice Cream with Great Grandpa

We had dinner tonight over at Grammy and Papa's and after dinner we had ice cream for dessert. I found Great Grandpa Don and stole a bunch of his ice cream, I think I have him wrapped around my finger!

Afternoon at Turtle Bay

Today I spent the afternoon at Turtle Bay Park with Mommy & Daddy. I love looking at the big fishies in the aquarium. We playing with all the interesting alien exhibits and learned about what different people around the world eat. We then went for a walk over the Sundial Bridge and through the gardens. We sat on a crocodile and played the drums like Grandpa. I love to splash in all the fountains, Daddy even let me stand by myself to splash in the big one.

Fun With Daddy

Here are some funny pictures of me and Daddy playing together. I have discovered a new funny face that makes him laugh. Daddy makes me feel like I am flying. I also like comparing my little feet to his big feet. I love play time with Daddy.

Fun at the Park

I went to the park with Mommy, Grammy and Papa. We had a picnic dinner, played on the swing and then went for a walk along the river. We ended up at the Turtle Bay Gardens where I shared an italian ice cream with Mommy, it was yummy!

Dirt Moving

Mommy and I went up and had lunch with Papa today. After lunch, Papa took me on the piece of equipment he was running to move a bunch of dirt. He was sure not to start it because it is very loud and might scare me. I felt really tall sitting up so high, I even tried to steer it. There is a picture of Mommy and Papa when Mommy was my size just like this. I can't wait to be bigger so I can actually go for a ride!

Jello!!

I got to spend the day with Grammy a few days ago because Daddy was really sick and had to go to the hospital. He is much better now, but while I was at Grammy and Papa's I got to try jello for the first time, it is GREAT! It is one of my new favorite treats. Grammy sent some home with me so here I am enjoying some more at home.

SDS BBQ

We had a BBQ at our house last Thursday with the people from Daddy's work. I had a blast playing with all the other little people. They really liked playing with all of my toys, especially my car. Daddy's friend Scott (Elijah and Emily's Daddy) sat on the chair and tried to hold me, Emily and Waylon all at the same time, we made it very difficult for him. Waylon's Mommy Sherri put both of us on my car to ride around, Waylon gave me a big hug when we were done.

Lassen Park

I went to Lassen Park for the first time on Labor Day. I went with Mommy, Daddy, Grandma & Grandpa Wiechman and Uncle Adam. We went on a hike from Summit Lake to Echo Lake. It was a total of four miles. When we got to Echo Lake we stopped and rested. Uncle Adam went swimming and Grandpa dipped his legs in the water. I shared my ritz crackers with everyone for a snack and then the chipmunk tried to have some too. After the hike we had lunch back at Summit Lake with Grandma. It was a fun day but very tiring. I took a really good nap on the ride home.

Opening Day Dove Season

To celebrate the opening day of dove season there was a big dinner at the Dersch Family compound. I got to eat yummy venison and dove for dinner. After dinner I played on the grass with Sandi's doggy Remington. The twins got to eat ice cream for dessert, it looked really yummy so I tried to get some by looking cute and licking my lips. Unfortunately, Morgan didn't let me have any so I farted and made her laugh instead.

Swimming with Waylon

Today Mom took me to go swimming with Waylon and Sherri at the Aquatic Center. We got to play at a special time when it was all little people like us, no big kids around to splash us. We rolled a ball back and forth through a water tunnel, it was great.

After swimming we got ready to go have lunch. Our silly moms though brought the same outfits for Waylon and me, we looked like twins. Of course the momarazzi had to pull the cameras out and take pictures.

During lunch I had fun stealing Waylons food when he wasn't looking, then would cram it in my mouth before he could catch me. We then figured out that if we banged on the table our food would go flying all over, it left a big mess on the floor for Mom and Sherri to clean up.

Dangers of Eating

So I learned an important lesson yesterday, take an afternoon nap. I thought I could make it just fine without one, but I ended up falling asleep while eating my dinner. I was really comfy resting on my hand for a while, but my arm got tired, so I ended up in a face plant in my food. When I woke up I had a red mark on my forehead from my food tray. Mom and Dad thought it was really funny and took these pictures for blackmail one day.
